About Me
I'm quite the fan of Punk, and Metal. My Mom took me to my first show, which was Iron Maiden at Maple Leaf Gardens circa 1987. I was a kid, and I wondered why their cigarettes smelled weird. Hmmmmmmmm. ;)
I'm from Etobicoke, but I grew up downtown, skipping classes and hitting Queen/Spadina before it was cool, to hang out with the weirdos and freaks. Then my people moved to Queen/Bathurst, to the Bovine, Big Bop, and Queens Head Pub. I'd mention the Vatikan, but that was just an after hours thing....knock on the door at 3am, and you were in until you stumbled out at 6am as the sun was rising. Good drinking, good bands, good drugs, good friends, and good times!
First Date
Hmm, peruse a record store, argue about what was good/what sucked, then maybe go over to Silver Snail and check out the toys....then go over to the Black Bull for beer and nachos, end the night at the Bovine or skip it entirely and go back to my place for a cheesy horror movie and more beer and nachos OR wings!
