One of my friends gave me a card with that quote. I think my friends would also describe me as a loyal friend, warm, generous, and tender-hearted; practical and independent; elegant and sophisticated; the All-American 'girl next door'. Most of all, they are simply perplexed that I am still single.

I am fortunate to have a wonderful family and several close/ lifelong friends. I have had many opportunities to further my education and build a successful career. But at this point in my life, it would be truly wonderful to share my adventures, as well as the in-between time, the day-to-day living, with a true companion and life mate.

My ideal match is looking for companionship and an equal partner. He is fun-loving, athletic, and strikes a good balance between spending time with me and hanging out with his buddies. He likes to travel and see the world, but also enjoys down time at home and with family (and occasionally sleeping in on weekend mornings). He's willing to learn about the things that interest me as much as he wants to teach me about the things that interest him.

He is intelligent, well-rounded, spiritual, and a good listener. He is emotionally mature, financially stable, and truly ready to share all aspects of his life with someone special. He knows he is not perfect and does not expect perfection from me. He MUST make me laugh…and he is playing for keeps!

I prefer a neighborhood pub or a good restaurant to the club scene. Depending on who you're with, just about anything can be fun. I truly think fun is where you make it.

Note: I spend a good deal of time in Atlanta visiting family, so am open to meeting/dating there as well as South Florida.
