Its all about my children, as an only parent they take priority. Wait! its all about me too! I mean, if I'm not a happy dad what do the kids have? (answer: NOT a happy dad) I make time for me (and in this case, maybe you and me) Exercise is my friend - its even more fun with a REAL friend.. If you are ready for an active date, you have met the right guy... I'm busy, professional, happy, happy (worth repeating) and there is plenty more to my story and yours. If you'd like to share stories, feel free to drop me a line. I'm in a get to know you kind of mood these days. I'm not the marrying kind, right now.. I'm not the soul mate that you maybe wondering about. I'm real, I'm now, I'm energetic, I have challenges in life that have made me stronger and built character.. the kind of character that makes me attractive to many. I'm a giver and a people person. I'm less than Mr. Right, and moer than Mr. Right now. Lifes circumstances has me where I am.. but it's a big ocean and there are plenty of fish... we all look pretty much the same here.. a few pictures and a few words...

If I've passed the brief introductory words, and if I've passed the basic visual test here, then consider dropping me a line... If I have enough time for a wonderful date, then I've more than enough time for a few emails, I can't read your mind and you can't read mine.. I came her to meet people and I hope you feel comfortable enough now to drop a line.. this catolog of people here is big and it changes a little every day.. this is my third day here and its been fun and "interesting"

I'm ready for a real connection.. some chemistry, a phone call, a get together or a meet and greet.. some shared experiences.. and whatever the future now brings.

Note: If you are in to "quads" and motorcycles and boats with motors on them... well.. we are likely not a match, I like to paddle my boat or use a sail, I'm the motor for my cycle, and getting out in the wild and the woods is great, but on four wheels with noise and gasoline.. and.. well, you get the idea.. my idea of a trip to nature is to take it in, not to take control..

Note: Not and agry guy, no yelling no "loosing it" if you "loose it" well, you've lost more than that...

Note: 13 chickens in the back yard.. but production is down with these shorter darker days... only a coule eggs a day.. but this spring they will be cranking out the eggs again.. 6-8 a day... I don't sell em.. I just give them away.. tan and brown and green and speckled.. love that stuff...

Note: I don't spend every waking moment exercising... I do make good food choices and I regulate how much I eat and when I eat it.. and I cut loose and eat way too much regularly.... I exercise regularly but nothing more than about 30 minutes at a shot.. I never sit on the couch and watch TV... unless there is someone to watch something special with...

Note: Sunday, Oct. 25th... you know its fall now.. half the leaves or more are down.. rain off and on.. shorter days.. and wow..only TWO eggs from my chickens today, I've got ten adult chickens and 3 teenagers (fall chicks) and two eggs out of 10 laying hens is "nothing" : ) I don't put a light out in the coop.. if I did that I'd get more eggss... But.. I just tend to let nature take it's course.. by December I won't be getting any eggs at all until Feburary.. then the daylight starts coming on and next summer my three new hens will be popping out an egg a day.. I should be getting a half a dozen eggs a day by then.. more than we can eat.. that's when I start giving them away... people have asked if they could buy from me but giving them away is just more fun... nothing like a home grown FRESH egg.. you just can't go back to the old store bought stuff in my way of thinking...

Tomorrow is Monday.. a freaky one hour late start for the kids, the lunches are packed and they are all cleane up and ready for Monday.. and we get to start our day an hour later than usual.. not a bad way to start a Monday. I've got two kids busy and one in the tub and I'm listening to some shawn Colvin, a tune called "killing the blues" try u tubing that.. or of this works.. check it out here.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAe8-ms-mYs I'm sipping a glass of wine and typing at you.. there is a fire going off to my left and all this is going to be shattered in a few minutes when my 11 year old gets out of the bath tub and we get back to working on his five paragraph essay that is due tomorrow : )

We can talk about a date after our meet and greet... but I will be clean and my clothes will to.. you will think "no there is a guy that is taking care of himself.." if we have a drink it won't be too much.. I'm confident that you will feel at home in my company, comfortable... you may not dig me.. but you won't find out until you get there. .. oh, and you really gotta be someone that takes care of yourself as well....


Note: after we take a few walk and talks and have some fun get togethers, I would like to cook together... preparing a meal, sipping some fine wine, listening to some great music, preparing a meal... bumping into each other, moving around the kitchen working on some prepartion tasks, separatly and togehter, trying an old favorite or trying something new - either one is fine. but some time in the kithchen togehter fixing a meal and cleaning the dishes as we go (I love doing that, its SO easy and there is no huge mess to clean up after dinner) yep, tons of conversation.. lots of good music, some fine wine an a fine time as we prepare a meal together. I've YET to do that on date, does that sound like fun or what? I don't know about you but I have spent a huge portion of my life in the kitchen, and I expect to be there much more before my time on this earth is over, there is something very familar about the kitchen.. what a great place to share some thoughts and some time together... (just a thought, something you might want to keep in the back of your mind)

Happiness is a choice.
