I'm originally from Chatsworth, Ga, which is a beautiful place to live, at the foot of Fort Mountain, and also near Grassy Mountain and Carter's Lake. But I'm currently living in Dalton while attending Dalton State College. I'm a country boy and southern gentleman who loves nature; especially lakes, rivers, mountains, and wildlife. My most recent hobby has been hiking to and photographing waterfalls. But winter is almost here, and I need a new hobby, and am open to new ideas. I also like classic cars, hot rods, and motorcycles. And I like alot of types of music: Southern Rock, Country, Classic Rock, Blue Grass, Folk, Blues, and CCM; I can enjoy just about anything except rap or anything else with vulgar/explicit lyrics. Some of my favorite classic rock artists are Hendrix, Clapton, Crosby Stills & Nash, CCR, Skynyrd, Allman Bros, Fleetwood Mac, and of course, Pink Floyd. Favorite country includes Keith Urban, Diamond Rio, Rascal Flatts, Martina McBride, Travis Tritt, and Trisha Yearwood. For movies, I tend to especially like the ones that combine action/adventure with a little drama and romance; some of my favorite actors are Kevin Costner, Brad Pitt, Nicholas Cage, and Robert Duvall (he's a real cowboy). I like to cut up and laugh sometimes, and I don't think I'll ever get too old to play. And just for the record: In the beginning of creation, God said "It is not good that man should be alone." Can I testify? "THIS AIN'T GOOD!!!" HA!!HAA!!! I have been divorced and living alone since 1991; and though I have been in a couple of relationships since then, even that has been over 2 years now, and I am hoping for a pleasant change to come around soon. In other words, I would like to meet my significant other, somewhere, somehow, and sometime in the near future; and that is really why I am here, more than all the other things I could get into on this site. I am interested in friends, also and foremost, because even though I believe that physical attraction is where romance starts, and so it is important (so please do post recent pics of yourself); I also tend to think that if you don't become best friends at some point, you probably won't remain true lovers forever. So I am looking for a friend, and though sharing some common interests is a must, change can be good also, and I'm open to other's desires, and would sure welcome some new hobbies,interests, and other ideas.
