Hi! Some friends have met some good people on here so I thought I’d give it a try... I’m a grad student at the U of A working on research in a medical related field. I’m working on my PhD and have a couple years left. School keeps me pretty busy but when I’m not in the lab I enjoy biking, volleyball and although I don’t get out to the mountains as much as I’d like, hiking. I’d like to think I can cook – I’ve been told I make a mean lasagna.

I’m not sure exactly what I’m looking for. Education is pretty important to me so I guess I’d like to meet someone who values education too. I’m a bit of nerd, I like and tell bad science jokes, so you’d have to be able to put up with it. Here’s an example: What do you call the leader of a biology gang? The nucleus. HAHA, if you can appreciate this type of corniness then we might work!
