Here I go, running and jumping off the dock, into the lake, and I have no idea how cold or deep it is! I have acquired new interests, in the past few years, and am enjoying exploring them. I like to listen to jazz and enjoy live performances of gypsy jazz, blues, and americana. I attend Bandits lacrosse games and make at least one MLB game a year, with the Indians being an easy favorite. I attend a Unitarian church, when I need a bit of soul food. I have outgrown buffet restaurants and pubs with burgers. A stylish, classy restaurant or an ethnic food restaurant is preferred to something I can cook at home, when I go out to eat. I appreciate a glass or two of dry, red wine when I choose to have a drink. I like to do mini road trips, to easily reached destinations, with museums, ballgames, and exploring as the planned activities. I love the smell of the Adirondacks and feel comfortable relaxing near a lake. When I listen to the radio WBFO or 91.1 are my first choices. A real cup of coffee makes the day go easier for me. I work hard and enjoy the people I work for. I am wading again into the theater world, with an interest in working on stage. I love to sing. My friends are an eclectic assortment from high school, college and past jobs. My humor is wicked and sarcastic and my tongue can be sharp. I wish there were more hours in the day so I could actually finish some of the books I have collected. TV is not my first choice for unwinding or relaxing. I rarely sit down long enough to watch a show.
I appreciate a partner who takes pride in his appearance. I don't have a closet of designer clothes but I strive to look like I did not get dressed in the dark ! I keep my own space neat and clean because that is how I am most comfortable. I live in the city on purpose. I am a fan of old homes and creative architecture. Modern art perplexes me but I can appreciate an Impressionist. I have a new passport and have never traveled outside the continental USA, it's about time to pick a destination and earn the money to get there!

Do we have to call it a date?? Can we just say we are meeting to explore a possible friendship?? I am comfortable in a coffee house or a bistro.
