Hello there! I am a recent widow looking to enjoy the company of a respectful kind man who has his act together! Music is my life and I am quite passionate about many interests including family, politics, and worship. My kids are nearly raised so I have returned to college while working temp jobs. I don't ever want to grow up or become a grizzled old woman, so please be happy and slightly childish yourself! Artists, musicians, carpenters and general wise-acres hold a soft place in my heart! Banter and witty repartee are juicy fun for me. I also enjoy quiet reflective 'down' time and would like to have a partner who can be content reading a book beside me. You should have a wide range of musical interests, be laid-back and enjoy conversation. I am an excellent cook and homemaker who enjoys pampering someone special. Family and conservative values are the core of my life. Did I mention I am a bit of a 'colorful character'? Hmmm. Must have slipped my mind...An avid Radiohead fan for 16 years, I have been threatening to have Thom Yorke's love child for at least that long, but fill the void with conversation and political diatribe. Flea markets, thrift stores, art exhibits, and live music are my favorite haunts. Historical sites and museums are great too. I have alot of energy and would like to find a companion who has the same 'zest' :0 (In marriage only, of course.) I can work with the gastonomically faint of heart, but enjoy some chinese food and peppers regularly. I do have teenagers and they are rather unique people too. I'd like to be a writer, or write music when I grow up! Service to others and devotion to God, family, and country are important values in my life. You would need to be comfortable with worship activities and be devoted to your own peace and Christian walk. P.S. I also love a man who works with his hands for a living, and can make me feel safe and cared for!
