I am an optimistic, positive person looking to date a great guy. I think that if we can be friends first, time will tell about the future. However, I am open to more than just dating.

I am well-educated but down to earth, happy and light-hearted, while having seen enough of life and far-flung countries and cultures to have perspective...therefore, not naive. I love to travel and explore life's wonders and also know that it's much, much more fun with someone appreciative along to share the ride.

My career has been in Education, and I still love the idea of helping kids directly and indirectly as they pursue knowledge and make their way into the world. I have also been active in the community, as a mentor and public servant, and believe it is refreshing to now have a President who can think, and can even communicate in complete sentences??
