I graduated from Texas A&M University, in College Station, in August 2007 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. I served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps (Jan 1997-Jan 2001) as a machinegunner with 3/4 India Co in Twentynine Palms, CA. I am 100% Republican. I hate adultry, abuse, jealousy, abortion, and am willing to stand up for my beliefs.

I have never seen "The Notebook" or "Sleepless in Seattle". I'm spontaneous - I have no issues with doing things at the last minute...I don't usually plan things out, which might be a weakness. I have a strong sense of humor - sarcasm is just part of my personality and I am quick to cast out a joke, but never with the intentions of hurting someone's feelings. I am optimistic - view the glass as half full rather than half empty. I have the tendency to be emotional at times - I don't like to argue, but you will definitely know when my feelings are hurt because I become quiet. I am a strong "people-person" - I can engage in conversation with just about anyone...I am the most comfortable when I am around other people rather than being by myself...although "alone-time" is needed by everyone from time to time. I am very confident - I can do whatever I put my mind into. I am very sympathetic - Comforting those around me in need and trying to make them feel better when they are down emotionally...I enjoy taking time out of my day listening to someone vent or discuss their problems with me. I am always open for ideas from people and ask alot of questions when in doubt about something or to make sure I don't make the same mistake as someone else. I love listening to music - I listen to almost everything on the radio...minus tejano, of course...lol...I am great at multi-tasking. I usually will take initiative when the situation arises. I am quick to motivate someone to achieve their goals...even when they are far from achieving it. I have very high standards and expect alot from friends and other people I trust. I adapt to change very well.

I enjoy Working Out, Playing Poker, Rocket Science, Texas A&M Sports, College Football and Basketball, and most Professional Sports. Television interests include Scrubs, Entourage, Family Guy, Biggest Loser, Big Brother, Hell's Kitchen, ESPN, Discovery Channel, History Channel, and E!.

I am pretty simple when it comes to "first dates". More than likely it would be a somewhat early dinner and maybe a walk in the park or some drinks in a mellow place to try to get to know each other a little more. I try not to have any expectations on first dates and just like to see what happens over time...it seems to help with the anxiety and nervousness of meeting someone for the first time when expectations are eliminated, but that's just me.
