ME: I'm a fun loving, sassy, educated lady. I'm a good listener, but also outgoing and like to keep things light and laugh as much as possible.

I enjoy cooking, I can even make a decent cook when I'm motivated and focused. I am a very particular person when it comes to food, I can be a little bit of a food snob once and a while. I love cooking & eating healthy, tasty meals.

I enjoy spending as much time as I can outdoors and time with my friends and family. I'm open to new things-- I'll try anything once. Although, I am not what I would call an extreme sport enthusiast, I've always been considered a "tom-boy" and can hold my own; biking, running, kayaking, swimming, etc.

I have always been extremely independent. I enjoy my career and everyday is different.

I have a dog named Dodger, whom thinks he has taken up permanent residency on the other side of my bed, however, I'm convinced otherwise.

I find my work tremendously rewarding and try and put all my training and effort into teaching my students how to express their feelings appropriately & help discover things about themselves that will carry them through life, however I do love my summers off. I teach swim lessons, lifeguard and love going to the beach, having bbq's and bonfires.

In addition, I appreciate art galleries and museums.

I'm looking for a well-rounded, educated gentlemen that prefers to call you because he wants to hear the sound of your voice, rather than sending a quick text. I'm interested in finding a guy that remembers your favorite flavor ice cream and brings it over with him because he knows you'll appreciate it after a long day at work. I'd like to find someone who opens up doors for you, makes sure your comfortable at a party, and gives you flowers on other days besides your birthday.

Most importantly, I'm looking for a guy who is goal oriented and knows how to balance his work and play. You only live once right? Work hard, play hard. I'd like to meet a guy that preferably is self- motivated to living a somewhat physically active lifestyle.

Last, but not least this is like icing on the cake, but definetely not mandatory, I'd like to meet a guy who feels comfortable enough in his manliness to occasionally sing along while riding in the car playing Barry White or Al Green.

Phone conversation, some sort of physical activity during the afternoon on the weekend, or going to a good ethnic or somewhat unique restaurant for dinner.
