Well, where shall I start?

I suppose I should start with something witty to draw you near and get your attention... follow up with something exciting and daring! Then just when you've blocked everything else out with the exception of this profile, I end it with a one fabulous reference which somehow includes my personal jet, yacht, over-sized penis and longing for everlasting love...


Of course, that wouldn't be completely honest now would it, I don't have all of those things... no jet, no yacht, well, a slight longing...

I am going to go out on a limb here by making a bold statement "I think most people on dating sites misrepresent themselves, some only slightly and some to the extreme" Now, I am going to try and not do that... whatever 'surprises' if any will be positive not negative. I believe in full disclosure.

I don't want to waste your time, because that would be a waste of my time.

What a drag it is to meet someone whom you thought or were led to believe was someone else. No thank you.

So here I am, a slave to the human need for companionship. Forever looking for my missing link.. Does that sound lame? (it sorta does)

Oh Yeah, (very important), did I mention we had to look GOOD together? You may not think that's all that important, but it is... c'mon ;) you know what I'm talking about.....


Anyway, that's my take on that....


I am single. I am 36 years young. I am a parent of two boys, 8 and 16. I enjoy the fulfilling aspects of being a parent and what surrounds that portion of my life. As much as I adore my wonderful boys, I do like to get out on the weekends and perhaps during the week to enjoy the company of an 'adult' :-)

In my free time I enjoy surfing, hiking, staying fit, going for a ride up the coast or experiencing a local museum or stand - up show. I love to read, movies, music.... (no country music, I've tried... ok, I haven't tried and don't want to)


I am not really looking for anything specific, (or I may be subconsciously, I don't know) but I am open minded and perhaps there is someone out there for me :-)

If you were to ask a family member or close friend to describe me they would probably use words like … handsome, fiendishly witty, empathic, loyal, honest, solid…. (Not necessarily in that order and they'd probably be lying)
