About myself:
I'm happy with my life, yet feel life is more full when shared with another. Hiking the Rockies (or even watching a movie at home) is more fun with a partner by your side, don't you think?

Good news! Studies indicate that as a surviving spouse (with no residual baggage) who had a healthy, happy, truly passionate marriage, I’m “statistically predisposed” to having another. Isn't that cool?

When needed, I’ll take the initiative to reach out, discuss without argument, seek compromises, problem-solve, and generally be a grown-up.

I’m all for minimal angst; let’s skip the drama and have fun!

Favorite activities:
1.) I like to hike local greenbelts, camera in hand. But given a choice, I'd rather snuggle with you!

2.) I appreciate a woman who has a sense of style, and like watching her "hunt". I’ve actually been in Talbot’s & Victoria’s Secret without rolling my eyes!

3.) As a former builder (now a home inspector & building consultant), I’m on first-name basis at the local contractor supply houses.

"Passionate Marriage" by Dr. Snartch. I attended a 3-day couple's retreat at his Colorado clinic, focused on experiencing and expressing intimacy.
Have you ever had a sensuous, oiled massage that made you absolutely melt?

“City of Angels”… Nicholas Cage never breaks eye contact with Meg Ryan!

Note:
As a widower, I finished raising my girls alone. At 29, 27, & 25 they still love me, and I love them far more than words can express, so I guess we turned out all right. “For better or worse” is not just a phase to me; it really means something… just as do the words “honor”, “loyalty”, “forever”… and the greatest of all words, “love”.

Please do me a huge favor, and read this; it is important, but too often ignored:
I live in far Southwest Austin, near William Cannon and Hwy 290.
Life is too short to spend stuck in traffic, so my ideal match would live within 20-30 minutes of here.
