The older I get, the more I realize a good sense of humor is absolutely essential to life. There’s nothing better than being able to laugh with someone you love, no matter where you are or what you’re doing.

I love to have fun, whether that be eating dinner at a new restaurant or curling up at home with a good DVD. I love to cook and entertain, but I also love a quiet night spent at home with a good book. Whether I’m traveling or hanging around my home town, I love to be surrounded by good friends and family.

If my friends were writing this, they’d say I’m a very loyal friend that is always willing to listen. I’m kind, I’m friendly, I’m social and outgoing. I’m spontaneous and love making the most out of any situation. I also have a very sarcastic sense of humor, so you have to be able to roll with the punches and give it right back.

I am originally from California, but have lived all over the world. I love to travel and start to get a little stir-crazy if I have to stay in the old L.C. for too long without a road trip.

Regardless of where I am, I like to have fun. My number one belief is that life is way too short to be with the wrong person.

I think the best first date depends on the people involved. A nice dinner out is always good, but so is meeting over coffee. I'm spontaneous, so I'm always game for almost anything.
