Several years ago I decided to start living a more simple life. I do not like surrounding myself with things. I have never purchased a car, and I don't plan to anytime soon. I am a proud user of the ttc. I love riding my bike, I take part in the monthly critical mass demonstrations here in the city. I don't really eat out much. I prefer to stay in and cook. I love quiet moments. I enjoy art galleries and small coffee shops. I prefer spending my money on things that bring me lasting memories.

I'm self employed in the field of architecture. I design single family homes. I am very skilled with my hands. I was once an artist but for some reason its gone into hibernation. I plan to bring it back to life soon. I love hiking, biking, walking, kayaking, canoeing, photography and reading.

I mostly read literature and fiction. My favorite authors are Tom Robbins and John Irving. I am currently reading 3 books. I do not like collecting books on my bookshelves. I prefer shopping at used book stores and giving the books back. There are a few that I still cant part with.

I am very close to my family. We left Iran when I was three, moved to Spain for a year then Italy for four years, and then finally came here to Toronto in 1990.
