Holy crap, I’m on a relationship website! I feel like a traitor to tradition, like a bit of a cheater. I will admit it’s rather interesting.
It’ nice to know exactly what you want in someone and what you want out of life in general.
A good friend of mine told me that if didn’t have a girlfriend by my next birthday than she was going to put me on one of these sites to ‘find me a good woman’. Her husband warned me that she would do it. I guess that's what i needed to check out the online scene.
Let’s see, I grew up in a small town, I was in the military, I was in college, and I have friends stretching from the Washington DC to the state of Washington. I love the outdoors (camping, hiking, snowboarding), you’ve got to love the National Parks! I love to travel; I’ve been to dozens of different countries. Variety is definitely the spice of life; different cultures amaze me!
I’ve been here in the KC area for a few years and enjoy my career very much. I listen to most music with a few exceptions: no current rap and no metal, very little country. My iPod is loaded with everything from Bach and Mozart to Spoon and Modest Mouse, from Dave Matthews and Frightened Rabbit to The Who and The Rolling Stones. Movies/books: if it ‘s a good story I’m in. I’m reading a John Muir book right now, Travels in Alaska; amazing!
I’ve recently been asked to be the best man for two friends and am very aware that it’s time to settle down. Now I just have to find the right woman. That’s the tricky part, finding someone to laugh with, to play with, someone worthy enough to let into my heart. It’s not only letting someone into my heart, it’s giving them my heart. I don’t know how to love half way. Some say it's a curse, I say it's a gift. Honor may sound cheesy and trivial but it is very important. If you are not an honorable person, please don’t waste my time.
