| | My question is how do you sell yourself on a website like this? I really don't see a correct way to do it, because no matter what you say--and EVERYTHING you say is going to be over analyzed, it's hard to stand out....
I mean if I say I'm an attractive woman, they're gonna think "Red flag, she has some ego issue, and thinks she's perfect. But if I say I'm just a regular gal looking for a nice guy, they're thinking I have some self-esteem issues because i don't think high enough of myself and my standards to meet a guy are not very high either, so that must mean I'm desperate!! So, anyway, I am not desperate, just looking for someone who likes to talk, not just speak. I love the idea of meeting someone and talking to them for hours and hours getting to know them...very exciting. The first kiss is electric, the first time you hug sticks in your mind for days. I don't want to rush, lest the moment be lost. I am an independent person and don't need a man to complete me, but I would love one to share my ideas and thoughts and aspirations with. I love all kinds of music and can spend an entire evening just talking about music and it's wonderful effects on me, and hopefully you. I love country, old country and the 80s and todays rock.
Anyway, cutting it short, if your attitude is that every response to an ad and/or chance for a date has gotta be a sale/no sale or win/lose proposition, then move on. I'll give you a chance if you do the same for me...fair is fair, right? |

Depends on the weather....but to be specific, something easy, like meeting at a local pub, having a beer, and if there's an attraction, then we talk all night and no one else in the pub exists.
