I'm really into technology (all kinds), reading, keeping fit, and staying open to life's possibilities. I'm especially at home in my music studio, where I can be found writing and recording new songs. I am interested in European travel, and really dig the music and television of the UK, but would also like to spend time in France, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy.

I currently work in the mental health profession, and aspire to launch a private practice within the next year. I have worked toward this goal for years, and it is finally about to become a reality. Very exciting, I can tell you!

My friends tell me I have a great sense of humor, and laughter is something I need a lot of. I live a full, balanced life which includes career, creative pursuits, maintenance of my spiritual / emotional/ physical health, volunteering, and time with friends. I am fortunate to have a close-knit family, and they mean the world to me. I'm especially crazy about my nieces and nephews, who always seem to be increasing. I'm a very lucky man.

My taste in music varies. I love what I call "classic alternative"-bands like the Smiths, and Depeche Mode. Modern favorites include Keane, Belle and Sebastian, And One, and Assemblage 23. Then clear on the other end of the spectrum are artists like Cat Stevens, David Wilcox, and Rufus Wainwright. No rap, no metal.

Coffee or lunch is always a good place to start. There's some tried and true spots in the area, and there always seems to be new places to check out.
