I'm an active outdoors person who canoes, hikes, camps, crosscountry ski's,sails, and will try just about any outdoor activity. I spend a lot of my weekends out of the city exploring Manitoba's backcountry, however when I'm not out of town I like to go to pub with some friends, check out a band or a show, or go to a hockey game.

I have been lucky in that I have been able to bring my love of wildlife and the outdoors into my professional life, as I currently work as awildlife biologist

As for what I'm looking for in a person, basicially someone who enjoys a lot of what I do but will also have other interests and activities they can introduce me to. I'm always up for trying new things so ideally a partner would be as well. Traits such as having a sense of humor, intelligence, and motivation are things I admire in a person.

The first time meeting someone should be low key and low pressure so I would simply suggest going for a drink or a walk (or both). I would be more intersted in just chatting and getting to know someone rather then trying to impress with a fancy dinner or whatever.
