I love to spend time outside, whether it's going to an outdoor festival or going for a hike. I like going to movies and hanging out with friends. I love to cook when I have a "victim" to taste test it! I have become quite the home improvement expert fixing up my house. I have 2 bachelors degrees, and I want to get my doctorate so that I can teach at some point. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Some things that might seem like a bummer while they are happening have been the opening to a new opportunity that I had no idea existed. I believe that life is too short to hold grudges or be nasty to people. People are basically good at heart.

I love travelling, and I lived in Europe for a while. I love living an active life, and I hope to meet someone with similar interests in running, biking, camping, hiking, etc. I rarely find the time to just sit in front of the TV, but I often have a football or basketball game on in the background.

I would meet for a drink or a cup of coffee. It lets both parties have a preview of each other. The second date would be more like an official 1st date. I believe in meeting someone in person pretty quickly after initiating conversation, if possible. That way you can know if you have chemistry up front, instead of getting attached to someone online or on the phone and then having it be strange in person.
