Seems like a one in a million search we all are pursuing doesn't it? How many reasons we dismiss one another.. Too far away. Not Religious/Religious. One too many kids/no kids, never married..
It's the look in a womans eyes, the wit we share together, the sounds of our voices,the touch, the feel--the receptiveness we allow when were close. Our openess to change, new ideas, a laugh together, the kiss*. An LTR is about being comfortable together,to the point of truly being in Love I believe, and when there's that--2 people will do everything possible to keep it, unknowingly...It will be a labor of Love, no matter the duty. As long as you know that it's to the future of you both, you have something to Strive ,Live & Love for.
And while all that's going on---can we jump in the lake, or a cold stream on occasion? How about laying in the sun feeling the warmth of it all over. And let's plant that garden again this year. A nice fire in the evening under the stars, and one more inside to watch the flicker of the flames while we enjoy the life we've be working toward. Curled together under the blanket, or hiking thru the woods to some old or new destination. Take the boat out to central oregon for the weekend or more, catch a trip or 2 skiing up on the mountain, put a line in a creek for a fish as we come/go to the coast/mountains. Take in a new restaurant now and then, try something outside the box even--maybe even The OPERA ...ONCE !! It's about the company we keep, the spirit which develops between us--that is of most importance for Me.

Just let it flow--it shouldn't be an interview. I really prefer to talk first, see if there is a comfort level in speaking on the phone. When We decide to meet,I'd like it to be a date--as in doing something. Perhaps it's just a walk with some coffee, but let's see something along the way. That way we can learn about each others interests as things pop-up while we travel. Or a drive thru the country,or a walk downtown, or a hike, maybe a wine sampling. An activity. Raquetball maybe ! go easy, it's been a couple years !!
