About Me
My Self-Summary: I joke about slowly traveling westward. Being originally from one of the most ghetto parts of Dallas, I moved to Arlington, then Fort Worth. A couple of months ago I took a detour up to the Keller area, which is where I now live. Ambition is one of the keys that defines me, from both a personal and professional standpoint. I am currently a sales manager for a Fortune 500 retailer. However, I also love having fun. I'm always up for a margarita or sake bomb, with Mexican food or sushi, of course :). I enjoy all forms of artistic expression, particularly movies and books. If I had less business ambition, I would have gotten into liberal arts. Lastly, I am very much a sociable person who loves good conversation and meeting people, so hit me up!
What I’m doing with my life: I finished a bachelors in finance last December, in the top 10% of my class, while working full-time. Unfortunately, this coincided with one of the biggest financial market meltdowns since the 1930s. My next big goal is to start an MBA at a top 10 school during 2011.
I’m really good at: almost anything that I view to be challenging. I really enjoy trying to read people. Consequently, poker (particularly no limit holdem) is one of my favorite games. Also, I am good at setting up high-end audio, which is yet another one of my passions. Lastly, I am good at cheering on America's Team (the Dallas Cowboys, for those of you not so sports inclined).
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Books: The Intelligent Investor, How to Win Friends & Influence People, Execution, When Pride Still Mattered, anything written by Charles Bukowski, and Candide... Eclectic enough taste for you?
Movies: The Usual Suspects, Dr. Strangelove: Or How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, What Dreams May Come, Office Space
Music: Top 40, Pink Floyd, Eva Cassidy, Robert Plant, Allison Krauss, The Ataris, Beatles, Bob Dylan, Bob Segar, Dave Matthews, Diana Krall, Paul Simon, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, and MANY more.
Food: Mexican is #1. Then it would be sushi and Italian. One of my more recent projects is learning how to cook myself. One day maybe you can be so fortunate (or unfortunate) to have some. Lol
The six things I could never do without: Martin Logan speakers Cell phone Dallas Cowboys Ambition Intelligent conversation Challenging myself
I love meeting new people, so feel free to message me. I am open to going on a date with anyone that I click with. However, I am incredibly selective as far as choosing one to actually be in a relationship with.
