i dont normally wear a hat, but that was the most close up picture i had of myself on the computer. i am an artist and i enjoy doing a lot of creative things as well as going to movies and shows. i hope to find someone to hang out with that has some common interests in music and film but also someone i can learn a lot from. i live day to day and just try and make good decisions for myself that also do not negatively affect others. i love movies and music, i own over 1200 dvds and over 2000 cds/records.

movies: its really hard to just list a bunch of movies i like because there are so many, i try to watch everything i have time for, ill give most any movie a shot, so ill just list some genres and directors/actors i love: art, avant, horror, romantic comedy, comedy, exploitation, surrealism, melodrama, lars von trier, michael hanake, lucio fulci, dario argento, federico fellini, bergman, visconti, miike, david gordon green, lynch, pt anderson, cronenberg, kubrick, and many others, i also really love the past decade of korean films their melodramas have been most excellent especially Failan. i also love to watch bad horror movies.

music: new wave, no wave, post punk, post rock, electronic, trip hop, ambient, sigur ros, three mile pilot, black heart procession, david bowie, tortoise, interpol, pinback, a minor forest, tarantel, mogwai, bonnie prince billy, air, broadcast....the list goes on and on
my goals, all of which have been accomplished but are a continual process of creating better things include: making music, making movies, traveling, writing, and educating myself.

i dont know how long its been since ive been on a proper "date" what the hell is the definition of that these days?? but to answer ill say: going somewhere that we can actually talk for some of the time and be entertained the other time. so maybe a show or just a casual meet up at a coffee shop or bar and find something to get into.
