Starting off with obvious things, my name is Matt, and I live in Lawrenceville. Technically, between Duluth and Lilburn, but because I hate Gwinnett county in general, I usually just say Atlanta. It makes it easier.

I'm a bit of a nerd...or maybe geek? I don't have a pocket protector, so I'm not that bad. I like fixing/building computers, and because of my job in radio, audio equipment is right up my alley. I don't play World of Warcraft, and I've vowed never to start. I do get a little excitable around the subject of photography...even though I'm not great at it. I'm a big fan of the beach, but during the fall, nothing beats a day trip to the north GA mountains to take pictures. I play the drums and guitar, though the guitar is just for fun. The drums I play in a band, and we usually play local places around the downtown area.

My musical tastes are somewhat eclectic. Everyone seems to say they listen to everything, so I'll be a little more specific: I like alternative, hard rock, classic rock, old country, a little bit of indie, and throw in some ambient for good measure. About the only thing I refuse to listen to is mainstream rap, modern country, and "rock" bands that consist of grown men wearing girl's jeans and eye liner.

I love rainy/stormy days as opposed to sunny days. No, I'm not emo, I simply prefer days that are overcast and raining. I can be quite affectionate and I'm not too embarrassed to hold your hand in public. I'd also be lying if I said I didn't enjoy cuddling. I think I just broke a man law there...but I said it. You put in a movie, order some chinese (or insert other take out food here) and I'm a cuddler.

I've worked in Atlanta radio for a few years now, at a handful of different stations. Right now, I'm at a small AM station, doing mostly voice work and producion in commercials/station promos, etc. I do voice imaging for a country station down in Valdosta via the internets which is nice, because I don't have to physically live down there to do it. I also work as a dj on an internet radio station, and it's more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.

I'd have to say pretty much anything except a movie would be a great first date. When you've just met someone and you go to a movie, you're sitting in silence and you don't get to know one another. Doing something new that neither one of us have ever done before sounds awesome!
