I love mostly rock, 80's, Alternative, Grunge...anything but country. I like Stephen King Novels, Biographies and stand-up comedy. Love all kinds of movies, playing pool, hanging out and talking with intelligent people. I love my 2 girls with all my heart.
What I'm looking for is a man, not a boy, who knows what it means to be in a relationship, who can accept who I am because I'm not changing...I love who I am and I accept others the same way. I've got a quick wit, I'm intelligent, caring, faithful. I'm a big woman with a big heart and I've been lonely too long...I am lonely by choice because I know what I want and deserve and it's very simple - I'm not going to be someone's booty call, or dirty secret. I want someone who won't be ashamed to be seen with me, who can make me laugh, and can handle the fact that I'm not the uber-girly girl who won't leave the house until her hair is perfect and has a ton of makeup on. I tend to be in a t-shirt and jeans (or pajama pants), I don't wear makeup and keep my hair in a ponytail because that's how I'm comfortable. I'm not the chick who just orders a crouton and a glass of water - I eat when I'm hungry and I say what I think and feel, but I won't cut your opinion down if it's different from mine. Intelligence is big with me, so is a great sense of humor and cuddling, talking, and including my girls because they are my world. I'm honest and loving - when I give my heart, I give it fully and expect the same. I have simple expectations, but for some reason, haven't been able to find them in one person...just so you know what you're getting into, I'm 5'5", I wear 46x30 pants, glasses, and oversized t-shirts....I don't have phone sex, cyber sex, and I usually don't sleep with a guy on a first date. I'm a huge fan of kissing and hand-holding, and love it when I can curl up in the arms of the man I'm with. I'm quite independent, yet vulnerable at the same time. People tell me I exude a sweetness that makes you want to protect me, and that's fine with me. I have been hurt quite a few times, but I don't take it out on the entire male population (unlike most women). I adore Kevin Smith movies, comedies, documentaries, movies based on real events, and yes, the occasional chick flick. I also think in a relationship time apart is essential, because I've experienced burnout more than once. I ask for total honesty, because I give it. I ask for nothing I'm not willing to do myself, except I do prefer the man to make the first move...that whole fear of rejection thing. If I like you, I don't keep it a secret, so there's not a lot of guessing games involved. Just hang out, get to know each other, maybe catch a movie or dinner or a concert, even just sitting around the house talking, stuff like that is all great!
