For starters I work in Manhattan and live (alone...w/ pets) just outside the city in a condo that I recently bought in Rutherford!

In my spare time I enjoy skiing, running, hiking, camping, beer b-queing, taking my dog to the park, concerts and live music, comedy clubs, traveling, rock climbing, texas hold em, and sampling microbrews.

Other than that I encompass a lot of diversity... sugar and spice some might say :)

In a nutshell:

I am feminine and love the color pink, but don't mind getting down and dirty and love hard rock/ metal! I'm also a bit of a thrill seeker and would prefer to meet somebody who is down for spontaneous, crazy activities from time to time.

I work-out 5 days a week to stay fit and I generally eat a healthy (vegetarian except sushi) diet but i have no problem letting loose and i am not bashful when it comes to digging into beers and pizza.... work hard, play hard!

I'm conventional in that I'm well-educated, work the corporate 9-5, follow politics and the news, and hope to one day have a family, white picket fence, etc...yet I'm earthy, free-spirited and, in some ways, a bit ecclectic (i'm rocking some ink under my business suit).

I'm friendly, gentle and super affectionate, but have a fiesty inner kitten!

So as to not waste time, here’s what I’m looking for in a man...

Please share some interests with me. I am not just rambling off things I “sort of” like to do or have tried once… I do these activities often and want to find a partner to do them with! Skiiers, snowboarders and outdoor enthusiasts get major points!

Please have a brain and use it. Read the newspaper, keep up on current events, have interest in the world around you, ponder religion, watch the discovery channel… anything! I enjoy stimulating conversations and lively debates so if you can’t contribute anything intellectually it’s not going to work.

Taking care of yourself and working out is very important, but there is simply no need to juice your pecks and take pics of yourself topless in a mirror. To me, that demonstrates that you place too much emphasis on your looks, which may indicate that you are “lacking” in other departments. Plus its rather pathetic, shallow and creepy no?!?

Please have something to say about yourself other than the standard cliches! No sh*t you are looking for a “drama free girl”!! I don’t think anyone is on this site hoping to meet a life-long pain in their ass. I also could care less that you are Italian. That tells me nothing about YOU, other than that your mom was Italian, and happened to knock boots with your dad, who is also Italian. What do you DO?

I don't want to date a wussy or emotional basketcase. I want to find a MAN. This doesnt mean i'm on here looking for an well-traveled educated lumberjack... but somebody who is handy with tools, not afraid to get dirty, can pitch a tent, change a tire, support himself living on his own, etc. I can do all these things, so i'd hope you could too!

Finally, and I will probably get roasted for this one… I’m not interested in dating cops or coaches.
