Self-Summary
I'm an existential, nature-loving, wanna-be psychologist with a love of art and passion for learning. I enjoy keeping myself athletic, healthy, and spontaneous to avoid missing out on anything offered in life. I desire "to keep turning into something more." There is no afterlife; this human life on earth is it, so I plan on experiencing life to its fullest extent. A big part of me, which is what pulls me to this website, is that I will never feel complete without romance in my life.

Fair warning - If you cannot stand a dork, do not even bother taking an interest in me. I can easily shape up when the need arises, but when I am dating I wish to be at ease, be a goof, have fun being me with her. Why in the world would I care to be with someone I cannot indulge in being myself with?

What I am Doing With My Life
I had planned to become a philosophy and/or psychology teacher. Yet, after participating in America's compulsory, education system and discovering it is more about class management (baby sitting) that will get you hired and desired I found myself sickened by the way our country has setup the future of our children. Instead, I now fight to change our factory-like education. Life should NOT be institutionalize... fight to keep the child in you alive and keep it an adventure! (Yes, I know how corny it sounds)

I am attending Longview Community College this semester finishing up my last 9 credit hours and C-base test to have my Associates in Art and Education. I may be off to UCM once the new year begins to work towards my my major of Psychology and Education, and minoring in Communications in hopes of setting up my own radio show, but more than likely I may end up participating in an interesting program which will have me traveling instead known as Couchsurfing. I am working at a local Hy-Vee's customer service desk as a customer service representative and a participant of the AMWAY Global social commerce movement. I only work on the weekends thanks to my class scheduling. I also spend time with photography making money, only of nature scenes at the moment. If I'm gaming I'll be playing Super Smash Brothers Brawl (or Brawl+ for those who might be familiar with it) on a modded/hacked Wii, my only problem with the game is that it is most definitely not single player. I'm also into Aion -- it's so hard not to love an angels versus demons game!

I read non-fiction mostly thanks to my view of looking at it as a chore every time; Therefore, I try to make it to where it feels like I am gaining something out of reading -- not just being inculturated. No real favorites, but I do enjoy Grace Llewellyn, George Carlin, or "Why Men Don't Listen and Women Can't Read Maps", by Barbara & Allan Pease, and "The Good Sex Bible" by Judy Bastyra & Nitya Lacroix.

Ska! Alternative and Classic Rock, and Soundtracks are the usual I enjoy to listen too. I strongly dislike country and rap (including R'n'B.) I love Gogol Bordello, Streetlight Manifesto, The Fratellis, Cake, The Aquabats, NOFX, Billy Talent and more that are escaping my memory, but these should help to give an idea. As of recent I have been addicted to online, ambient, radio stations.

I try to avoid mushrooms and peas. Other than that, I eat anything, but pastas are the way to my heart (or stomach). I have eaten things that are still alive and moving, but mostly with the motivation to say I did later. I have lived with a Korean family for over a year and spent time in South Korea itself, so I have also grown attached to kimchi and spice.

What I Find Attractive
What I desire is a laid back, fun, life loving, non-materialistic, hippie-like gal! Someone who shares my major values and morals, or at least does not see me as lesser for having them. I am atheist; feel free to believe whatever helps you through life the best, but push any religious standards onto me or the relationship and I'm gone. I have been told I am very idealistic. It is fine if you think my ideas are too grand or far-fetched, but all I ask is for understanding (support would be even better) that I do see them as achievable and realistic. Money and status symbols (big house, fancy cars, etc.) are of little importance to me. If nature and travel are a big hit for you, that's a big hit for me! Also, I hate to say it, but I can be shallow; mostly, I like being with someone who is confident in the way they look.

Whatever sounds fun and comes to mind at the time is the plan! Hanging around downtown walking around, spending time at parks, going biking, enjoy a concert, comedy clubs, talking over a cup of hot chocolate or dinner, movies, and so on. The only things I would be against doing are going to a dance club or bar.
