I very much enjoy companionship, people and humor. And I really like to travel, be it a road trip, a turn down a road I haven't been down before or an airplane trip to somewhere interesting. Recent destinations have included Napa, Monterey, Phoenix and Tucson, San Diego and Hawaii.

Yes, I do cook and can. Even wrote a cookbook for my kids a couple of years ago.

I am very much aware that women of my age are very often initially concerned about their security and privacy. So an appropriate first date is probably something casual and light. Meeting for coffee or a light lunch, something casual and neutral like that, seems appropriate. Probably not yet time for ethnic food at some place I've heard about.
