Me:
I have a degree in History and Government but I went to design school instead of law school, you can ask me why. My friends and family are immensely important to me. I'm fairly well traveled (I've road tripped coast to coast, been to Europe several times, Canada, the Caribbean and Hawaii). I don't do touristy though. I have lived in LA and DC and chose to come back to Chicago. Yes, I really am a girl who enjoys watching sports (Cubs, Bears, Bulls, College Basketball), especially with my Dad. However, I also volunteer monthly to give tours at an architectural museum. I travel across the country to see my friends and their families as much as I possibly can (see above pictures). Good live music thrills me and I couldn't live without my music collection. I definitely have been known to dance all night in heels and a little black dress, but you're more likely to find me at a bar with a good beer and good conversation.

I do the crossword puzzle in ink. I've climbed mountains. I've sailed boats. I've run races. I love root beer floats. I make fabulous birthday cakes. I swing on the swing set to release stress sometimes. I've subscribed to Gourmet magazine for 10 years, but I don't like eating leftovers three nights in a row. The list goes on, but isn't that what dating is for? to find out all of the quirky, wonderful, and annoying things about each other?

This is just the beginning. Ask me questions. Engage me. You might be surprised at the answers. The people in my life will tell you that I have a lot to give.

I deal with what life gives me, taking advantage of every opportunity along the way.
