First off, I don't want to say that I like the beach, outdoor nature activities, etc., etc. (although I do like them for the occasional recreation fun.) I really am a city girl at heart . . . I work and play in NYC; I love, love, love Manhattan--it is my favorite city of all (even though I had been to many other major cities . . . even Paris--another well-loved city . . . yet none could measure up to Manhattan!!!) Therefore, if you don't like engaging activities in Manhattan, or thinks that coming into The City is inconvenient, or your habitual leisure activities are outside of The City, then you are not the guy for me.
Physical health and fitness is very important to me. I work out at my health club at least 5 days a week. Consuming fresh and healthful food is another way for me to maintain my well-being (it is not to say that I don't indulge in "sinful" food occasionally, but NO fast food.) My guy is someone who respects his body enough to regularly condition it, feed it with wholesome and healthful food, maintain an active and healthy life style, and be in good health and shape (being "a few pounds over" and/or sporting a big belly is just not sexy!!! Not to mention such physical condition usually brings along a number of health issues.)
Favorite music genres are: classical, metal, classic rock, symphonic metal/rock, neo-classical metal, trance, New Age.
Favorite movies are: Dragon Heart, Brave Heart, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, House of Flying Daggers, To Live ... and certainly all the Star Trek motion pictures.
Oh yea, can't leave out this one ...

Favorite book: "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor E. Frankl
I have a few old friends (friendship of many years). They love and care for me very much, and they have been such enduring support, comfort, and joy through all these years . . . they are the treasure in my life, and nothing could diminish their value to me. Family is equally important, and I maintain strong bonds with them even though we don't see each other as much as we wish. When it comes to family and relationships, my values are rather traditional.
Marriage is something in the back of my mind, but I am not rushing to it since having children is not in the picture. I currently do not have any agenda . . . I am simply here to connect with nice, interesting, intelligent, attractive, and physically fit men, have fun, engage in mutually enjoyable activities . . . and see where things will lead--hopefully a life-long partnership where we love and respect each other with all our hearts and would always be there for each other . . . for better and worse, in sickness and in health (but no pressure . . . just live as if there is a future, yet simply experience the present.)
So what would I like to do with you? I like dining out, going to the movies, concerts (both classical and rock concerts), visiting museums, screaming our lungs out at the amusement parks, hiking in the Costa Rica rainforest, jumping in the waves hand-in-hand at the beach (you've gotta hold my hand because I can't swim . . .

), sport-climbing (indoor as opposed to outdoor), watching the full moon and sunset, traveling to exotic countries, cruising to the tropics, hanging out at home, talking like 2 best friends, holding hands, cuddling, kissing, private sharing of affections . . . really, anything is wonderful as long as the company is good.
So give me a shout . . . and see where life will take us . . .
I would like our first meeting be rather soon after our initial contacts if all goes well . . . there are certain things that would reveal themselves only through real-time person-to-person interactions and conversations.
Our meeting would be something casual, like going for a coffee or a drink, or take a walk (anywhere) . . . activities that would let us know how we interact with each other and whether there is a connection and chemistry.
