3 Interesting Things about myself: I'm learning guitar to play & sing, I'm a published poet and competitive urban ballroomer

Overall, I'm a humble guy... a gentle man, but not without passionate aspirations. I do love music, but the free credit report.com commercials, although catchy, are getting annoying. I love helping people and bettering myself through learning. I love adventure, and, at times, pushing against the status quo.

I love people who are artistic and open minded with a healthy sense of humor. People with artistic visions tend to display an infectious energy, and have personalities that welcome play and adventure.

I would love the type of connection that doesn't have to be draped in gold, expensive trips, club hopping... I adore quiet moments as well as times when the tempo is fast.

Like a moth to the flame, Often I'm drawn to rocking the boat a lil, doing something at least a lil out of the norm.. however, at times, I'm also drawn to finding the extra-ordinary in "ordinary" moments.

So, by the end of our time together if we're exhausted from a Capoeira, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, or Ballroom class, or if we decide to meet at a cafe to share poetry and memories over a mocha latte or chai, or walk the waterfront...view the burning lights of the city from the sky, inside the Coach Insignia on top of the RenCen, or if we find ourselves in each others' arms, dancing in the middle of a crowded dance floor... it's all good because we're learning the song in each other. Honestly, I would just appreciate the experience... "Getting to Know You," like an old Parliament Funkadelic tune. ;-)
