It’s been a while since I updated my entire profile, and because I have learned more about what I want, I decided to re-write some things.

I am exploring and meeting people. It's strange how the more you *know* about romance, the more experience you have, the less you really *understand* about it all. Everyone becomes grey; the outline of the ideal partner is quickly blurred into a dim cloud. The longer you search, the more you are used to traveling and searching, and not really loving. I'm not quite searching. Wandering maybe. Maybe I'll find a good romance, but I can't say how much my spirit is into this.

I'm not a theatrical "tough guy" or a "bad boy." I live with my own idea of honor. A quiet dignity. And if I do date I want to do so without being clumsy and hurting lots of people, like everyone else. I think things should be simple if they can be. Some people find my principles inspiring, and others think I'm uptight. Just saying.

I like romantic nuance. I can articulate my affection in a verbal, literary fashion that is more authentic than the ways most men express themselves; and in the past, I didn't like it when a girl looked over a poem I wrote for her after writing with deliberation. I also know how to be independent, and can tell when someone needs their own time and when they want to spend time together.

I’m a transfer student enrolled for International Relations at NCSU, with a minor in Gender Studies and another minor in Law & Justice. I speak Ukrainian, Spanish, and Persian. I exercise frequently and have career aspirations with either the FBI or INTERPOL. Overall my best qualities are self-motivation and remaining proactive to change. But most of all I'm a novelist and a poet: so finding an artistic girl (especially one with literary tastes) who can be imaginative when expressing her thoughts will impress me. If we can't talk on an intellectual level there's no hope trying.


Music I like: Blues, Techno (Smooth, Trance, Rave), Ethiopian Jazz, International (Persian), Folk, Classical, Rock and perhaps my favorite, Ukrainian Opera.

On a first date I’d pick a quiet restaurant in a relaxed, casual atmosphere where she can be herself.
