It's nice to see this site and the great profiles here. I'm hoping to find a younger man (at my age that leaves a lot of choice) to have a monogamous relationship with. I am just not attracted to men my age. I'm not sure why that is, but it's just a fact. I'm not looking for a twink or a model type or someone to have a dad/son fantasy with. Just a normal relationship where we are equal. I guess what makes me unique is that I have never been comfortable in the mainstream part of any culture. I'm out of the closet, but I don't like the typical gay scene. Maybe once a year at Pridefest, which gives me my dose of the gay mainstream, but other than that, I'm pretty much out of the loop. I love all kinds of music except Polka, which tends to make me feel seasick. I honestly love everything from Bob Dylan (one of my favorites) to Edith Piaf. I also play guitar. I have a great sense of humor, and an old fashioned sense of romance and corny love. I read all the time, usually fiction and spirituality. I learned to meditate a few years ago and I continue to work on growing, improving myself, and learning new ways to enjoy life. It would be great to find one wonderful guy to share life with, whether it's a great concert, an amazing sunset, or a hilarious movie. I love being casual, hanging out at home watching movies, playing with my dog, or reading.

For a first date I'd like something relaxed like a casual lunch and maybe a museum, something that lets us talk and see if there's a chemistry.
