About me...

I am a transplant to the Upstate area. I have southern roots but I grew up on the east coast of south Florida. I love every part of the beach/ocean and when I finish school I hope to return to the coast. Right now I think the Greenville/Spartanburg area suits me. I am truly a free spirit and I do tend to move with the wind, it may seem flaky to some, but interest others. I have strong beliefs about many things but I am always willing to listen to what others have to say and I will never tell you that what you believe is wrong or try to change what you believe, just as I would like someone to show me that same respect. I think that sometimes our greatest education does not come from a classroom but from our life experiences. I love passionate debates about many different topics; it shows that you are invested in something.

Laughter is the best medicine and even in the face of tragedy sometimes it’s good to feel sunshine on your face and smile. I’m a very warm, loving, kind person, I’m honest almost to fault, but if you ask me I will tell you the truth. I love my family and friends, I feel like I have the best a girl could ever ask for, and every day I know that I am truly blessed.

Things that interest me most are: great music (I know this is subjective but I have really good taste), cinematic masterpieces that take your breath away and make you sit in silence for hours, looking at pieces of art and wondering what the artist was feeling when they created it, great food that is savory and leaves you wanting more or wondering what that interesting flavor was that just graced your palate, dirty dirty ice cold martinis that just make you all tingly inside, long drives with good friends and great music to sing along to, hikes through the mountains that leave you wanting more every time you leave, beautiful, clear, crisp days in the ocean just sitting on my surfboard soaking in the sun, the feel of salt water on my skin after a day at the beach, time with my two favorite girls and how there is so much comfort in the honesty that we all share, getting excited with my brother about an import of our favorite bands that we just found in a great record store that we have just discovered.

I would like to meet a man that has a strong sense of self. Someone that has similar interests but not all the same, although having the same musical tastes would be excellent. Someone that takes care of themselves but isn’t a gym rat. I need to be attracted to you for things to work but a warm smile, and great personality can get you very far! Someone that just likes to have a good time no matter what it is that we might be doing, whether it’s a grand vacation or making dinner together in the kitchen. I am ready to meet my person, the person that is above all my best friend and partner in crime.
