I am a relatively busy senior executive in the roadside assistance industry, who travels on occasion but not excessively. I am just barely 41, recently separated (amicably - no drama, honest!) and looking to begin dating again after 13 years. I live in Woodbridge near Canada’s Wonderland.

I am a trim and petite 5’4”, who values a fit and active lifestyle without being overly obsessed with fitness and diet/ weight maintenance. I like to run and do hot yoga to stay fit and sane. I have run a lot of 10k races this year, and plan to run my first half marathon next May.

I am a big fan of nature, animals and the outdoors. My friends would describe me as loyal, intelligent, caring, non-judgemental, emotionally balanced and maybe a bit of a bohemian at heart. I find myself becoming increasingly optimistic as the years roll by, which has been an interesting process. I have a well-developed, sharp and quirky sense of humour and I like to laugh at the way life can be crazy and interesting and incredible.

I have no children, and I love to explore the city and the world, experiencing new things wherever possible.

A few things that make me unique:
- I am half Ukrainian and half anglo-saxon of British descent
- I grew up as an army brat so my family moved nearly every two years until I was half-way through high school. I have lived in Cold Lake Alberta, Lahr Germany, Gagetown New Brunswick, Kingston Ontario, Ottawa Ontario, Tucson Arizona, St Bruno Quebec, London Ontario, Markham Ontario and finally Woodbridge Ontario!
- I speak fluent French (well, I'm a bit rusty now that I don't speak to French customers all day, so not quite as fluent as I once was!)

I would like to meet someone who has the whole package. That is to say, you don't have to be drop dead gorgeous, but reasonably good looking and with a level of fitness that says you take good care of yourself - I don't think that is an unrealistic expectation. Ideally someone with intelligence, ambition, drive for success (however they define that for themselves - not necessarily purely material success, although meeting someone who is self-sufficient would be nice), someone who is optimistic and can laugh at themselves, who loves to experience the wonder and variety of life. I really like tall men but being as how I'm 5'4", anything 5'10" and over counts as "tall" for me!

For a first date, (let's assume we have already met once for coffee and decided that we like each other enough to go on a real date): I would be open to just about anything, but would especially like to do something simple and genuine that might involve the outdoors, like walking along a boardwalk or through a pretty park.
