I moved to DC in the middle of October, and so far I'm really enjoying all the things that the city has to offer. I'm reaching the point where I feel like I have it all--a good job, a place of my own, good friends, and a great city. But I'm looking for a special connection with someone that would make DC my "home."

I find it fairly difficult to talk about myself, but here goes nothing: I can be found doing a wide variety of things--enjoying a happy hour with friends, concerts, road trips, going to sporting events, or sitting around people watching and drinking a cup of coffee. I'm constantly reading and find myself getting sucked into any book that's put in front of me. I try not to stay at home alone TOO much, but I always enjoy relaxing at home with a good book or movie after a long day, and most times I find myself watching the History Channel or Discovery Channel rather than reality TV. If I had to sum myself up, I would say that I'm more inclined to enjoy the COMPANY rather than the ACTIVITY. As long as I'm hanging out with people that I enjoy, I will have fun.

I have a great relationship with my family, and even though they are far away, I try to speak with them as much as possible. I am VERY quick to laugh and consider myself to have a good sense of humor...even if it means that I'm laughing at myself a good portion of the time. :-D

I don't have a "type" per se, but I would like to meet someone that is intelligent and has some curiosity about the world and the people in it. I can drink cheap beer and shoot pool all night or I can clean up nicely and go to a dinner party. I'd like someone to be the same way. Obviously, I would like sparks to fly between us, but I also know that I can never have enough friends.
