Whew, here goes:) I'm as much a bookworm as I'm the girl who loves to hang out at a fab restaurant with my friends and ideally my mate. I'm a fashion writer by trade and currently looking to transition over into Real Estate investing. I'm a free thinker who is strongly opinionated but respects others' ideals, I pride myself on not being a part of the herd, but when it comes to romance I'm a bit of a traditionalist; candlelight dinners, roses and romantic getaways make me all girly and gushy (LOL). My hobbies include writing, reading, fashion (everything to do with it) networking, being a social butterfly and hanging out with a variety of friends whose personalities are as varied as their nationalities. I enjoy people, but I also enjoy solitude. I'm a calculated risk taker and go-getter, some say aggresive, but I also like to take a step back, breathe and pamper my mate. As for my musical tastes the typical NY bred Black gal stuff: R&B, hip-hop, reggage, but I also love Jazz, Afro-beat, dance and pop music as well as native music from a variety of places.
Please note if you're 'just looking to have fun' 'involved' 'married' 'engaged' or a workaholic WE WILL NOT BE IDEAL. Also please have a serious sense of humor, a bucketful of self-confidence and above all else be considerate and thoughtful.

A great first date for me ideally would be going to a fab restaurant followed by either an underground event (think illegal boxing or something really, really strange and titillating..hmmm..)after this is all said and done I would like someone to rub my feet, which are usually encased in fab but extremely un-comfy shoes lol while we share a sticky sweet dessert wine. On the other hand we can keep it simple and take in NYC by walking 20 blocks in random directions stopping in various shops, galleries, bookstores and general people watching while sharing pizza, hot dogs and the best of the city's Junk Food, but I'll still want the foot rub and dessert wine at the end of the date. LOL.

Most importantly I want to be able to communicate with you on that first date and really see if there is chemistry there.
