what's up? my name is kevin, and i really need to get some new pictures up.

I'll be the first to admit I'm not very good at writing this type of thing. I'm usually a pretty quiet person and don't say much unless I feel it's necessary but that isn't always the case. I was in the army for a while and got out and healed from an injury and started and stopped college a couple of times but now I'm back in to stay and finally almost done. I am a biology major, so I'm almost a geek.

I like to play guitar, watch movies, read. It doesn't really matter I'm pretty open to recreational things as long as they are relaxing. Life is way too short to be high speed all the time.

anyway...i'll throw this out there. i'm sarcastic. so sarcastic that a lot of people can't keep up with me. i can have a strange sense of humor, but i can also find humor in anything, and i do mean anything.

i always plan for the worst and hope for the best.

i'm not always great with new people but once i warm up to them i can get along with anyone, even people i don't like. i believe respect is mandatory towards all people regardless of who they are. i'm very philosophical like that. just because someone has done or is doing something bad doesn't mean they are a wholly bad person. but i also firmly believe that if you have done something that needs to be punished in any way then you must accept the fact that you brought it onto yourself so you should accept it and move on.

i do not judge anyone. i firmly believe that you learn the most about other people and yourself by getting to know people that are different from you. there is more to everything than what it looks like. just like a good book.

i am honest, too honest for some. but people are rarely trying to guess what i'm thinking because chances are i've already said it in a way that no one can confuse. i don't like playing games, except board games and video games and such, but no lies, cheating, or partial truths. this means that i won't play games at all. unless it's for some kind of momentary fun like good pranks

i love to do things because i have a fear of boredom. i just moved back to IL this summer after spending the last year living in alaska. it is the most beautiful place i've ever lived with some of the nicest people i've ever met.

First date? I like pretty simple dates, things that you can just relax and talk and actually get to know the person. I'm pretty laid back so anywhere that you can go and get some food and chat is good, especially if it is outside, I love being out in nature well off the beaten path.
