I love to try new things and view life as an opportunity to grow from trial and error. I have reached a point where I am happy and content, and believe that a relationship would enhance my life if it feels like a good fit for both of us.

My taste in music is eclectic (so said my brother-in-law when he saw the 4,000 songs that I have on my IPOD - rock, blues, Celtic, classical, pop, oldies, & even a bit of country, rap & jazz).

Recently, I started hiking and working out again with a trainer & have discovered boxercise. Great to get the body in gear and more energized!

My family, friends and 2 cats are extremely important to me as is relaxing and going with the flow.

My motto in life is live and let live. I look on the positive side of things - I prefer to think of myself as a realistic optimist and do not have much patience with pessimism, entitlement and self pity.

I will only respond to e-mails with pictures - it's not fair for only one person to be open about their appearance before contacting each other.

An ideal first date would be coffee or going somewhere quiet and getting to know each other. I love talking and sharing experiences, views and ideas.
