I am looking for someone to SHARE my life with. I love to be active, travel, visit with family, and soak up the sun on a warm beach or just in the back yard during the summer, reading or visiting. I don't let myself get to the point of "Bored". I enjoy some evening TV shows and movies at home. I like spending most evenings at home, would like to share some of those moments with someone holding me.
I love to walk, I powerwalk 6.5km till it gets to be minus 30, since there is no snow yet, I try to get out for an hour a day to Rollerblade 10 miles. I like that exhilarating feeling while I'm doing these activities or any of my many others.
I have been in a few long lasting relationships, but they have not materialized into marriage, which is my what I am really searching for. Life is too short to not share it with that special someone. I am not looking for a couch potato or a heavy drinker. The special person for me would have to have a zest for life and gets off the couch to enjoy what life has to offer.
About myself, well, I have one adult son from when I was quite young. I have lots of energy and love to stay busy, whether its cleaning, exercising, yardwork, you name it. What makes me unique, hmmmm, probably the distances I am willing to travel in order to keep in touch with my family. I smoke a half-pack a day but wanting to quit.
As for music, I would have to say mostly today's music and country and also love dancing whenever and to whatever music I can. Can't Jive though, would be willing to learn.

For a first date, I would like to meet somewhere for coffee. Preferably somewhere that is quiet enough to talk without screaming, so that we could get to know each other and see if a spark develops and there is mutual interest in one another. From that point, I would let the rest of the date 'happen' and not plan much else.
