About Me
I noticed my profile interest's list left to right in criteria, not in columns... And, You guys write much longer and more candid profiles than I would ever post, LOL.
Depending on the season, favorite things include: cooking, gardening, staying fit without being obsessed, music that strikes best for that moment... anything outdoors but also love going to the theater every few years (ha) & traveling!, etc.. And of course... I'll help you fix stuff just to make life sweeter (I've always been the one to repair and maintain the home, etc., thanks to my dad's training), then make a knock out dinner after your rough day... for both of us to enjoy. (Provided it feels fair.)
While I still have 1 17yr old kitty, my kids have included 6 dogs, 3 cats, 7 of those from kennels. 2 German Sheps, Walker Hound, mutt mix (the best), Beagle, Black coat setter, 3 calico kits... and of course fish and baby sitting a 9 ft boa that did not work out at all. 3 Bites.. you're back to mamma's house! LOL
The new job I've had for almost 2 yrs has limited almost everything to, well, work, so it's weird trying to define hobbies now. And how on earth do you start life over? Well... I guess you just do! and that is that, LOL. The open hours are less, work is hard labor and takes it's tole. However, there has to be a balance in everything. And I did not put down serious relationship because of my hours. It would be short of a miracle to think long term. Time/chemistry will tell on that one. So, Step 1: A date would be a lovely start. Very greatful to have this job! Just used to having a much more expanded lifestyle working my own hours in graphic design/advertising. Then came the curve ball a few years ago and I traded in the hair spray and heals for a hard hat and steal toed boots... with a 401K, insurance, benefits, etc... Don't worry I've always been strong, in the best of ways and this job has not turned me into a tough chick. I can still be me. It just took my co-workers a year to realize they can enjoy that ~ LOL (I really like to keep things on a light side, laugh, be optimistic). They feared I was a sally. They didn't know the mechanical skills my dad gave me =). It's not always about weather you can do it... some times just because you can, doesn't mean you should have to, all of the time. However, I do and will at work. Ooooopsy doodle, their bad at work, SUPRIZE, haaa. They also wish my energy level was much lower... for the curve bar there, but, If I may quote Popeye, LOL: "I yam what I yam and I is what I is." And I live hard, play hard. Nights do kick me in the rump though on too many days.
The newest 5 yr old & rewarding activity would be skydiving. Total focus in each moment... the horizon, landing, ooof, so good ~ but safety comes FIRST. And the friends you make in that sport are off the charts great. Not looking to get on a team ~ it's a personal thing and just the best feeling ever! I'm finding it hard to believe that just because I occasionally jump, others feel they need to do that too in order to converse with me. There is just as much fun for a guest to enjoy the grounds, pond, camping, bonfires, tiki hut at night, watching big ways fall from the sky like fireworks all day long. People don't have to be skydivers to really get a jolt out the environment. It's just "fun" all the time there =).
Things I fear? Shiny spiders (relocated many & would never kill one), and dangling my feet in dark water. LOL
I'm more of a thinker than a talker, yet when I talk, friends say I think too much. Hmmm, Ill have to think about that one, HA.
Okay... If I say everything here, what's to talk about later. I think that should be enough for now.

First Date
First date depends on mutual interests. Coffee, pizza & a drink, or taking a hike at the Dunes, it's open... after a note/call or two. That's reasonable right =) I was raised that girls DO NOT call boys. Old fashioned I know, so I'm trying to move past that =)
