Relatively new to Calgary, I imported some friends with me and made some more over the past 2 years. That said, most of my imported friends came with boyfriends and a lot of my new friends are in the same boat; makes it a little ridiculous to meet people. Couple that with my lack of bar hopping habits and I find myself single and hanging out with my friends and their boyfriends/husbands!

I work shift work so I get to go out and play during the week and love to find the mountains and rivers not so crowded at that time. I love being outside and it's a big factor in how I plan my days.

I'm a very happy person, I'm impatient at times (but mostly with myself), I'm caring, I love my friends and family, I'm social but love alone time too, I'm shy (but only for the first 15 minutes!), I love taking pictures, I need the outdoors (I may have already mentioned that), I enjoy most music, I love to laugh and make others laugh, I'm sarcastic, I love to read, enjoy hockey and watching the odd movie. That's all I can think of at the moment but I guarantee you there's much more!

I'm realistic about this site and realize that pictures and words aren't the only way to connect. I'm a fairly open person and will talk to pretty much anyone (save the creepy dudes who profess undying love or scary sex). Mostly, I'm just looking for someone to have fun with!

Hmmm...dinner and drinks...somewhere where we could talk. No point in going out if we can't get to know each other. I don't think first dates need to be extravagant. Just fun and as relaxing as possible!
