Headline says it all! I enjoy spending lots of time outdoors and you should too. If you'd rather go for a hike on a Sunday afternoon than watch football, that's a good beginning :-) If you appreciate a woman with more camping gear than shoes, we might be a match! My outdoor interests include: running, hiking, biking, camping, backpacking, kayaking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

You should also enjoy travel and have a passport. I have been to all seven continents and love to experience other countries and cultures. Speaking of culture...

I do enjoy a bit of the cultural events that Chicago offers too but I'd much rather spend an evening going to dinner and then Millennium Park to ice skate (which I suck at!!) than at the symphony. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the symphony, but once a year is enough. I'll dress up on occasion and the first time I meet you I might even apply a bit of mascara but don't expect that to be the norm with me. I'm much more comfortable with no make up, worn out jeans, fleece (well, not in the summer!) and hiking boots.

And, at the risk of some potential backlash, I'd prefer that you live in the city or a neighboring suburb. I don't have a car and I don't expect you to always have to come to me. I like to be spontaneous and a long Metra ride will be a problem!
