So here's my incredibly honest profile...

I'm 29, 5'9" tall, average/slim build. I have hair on my chest and a thinning spot on the top of my head, though I keep it short to minimize it. I don't shave as often as I probably should so I usually have a beard or at least a goatee. My ideal woman (a guy can dream right?) is good looking, several inches shorter than me, average or slim build with curves in the appropriate places. That out of the way, it would be nice to actually be able to relate and appreciate my partner. While looks are nice, compatibility is far more important.

I got divorced a few months ago. I'm a geek, so a bit socially awkward and generally pretty reserved -- especially with someone I've just met. I have a nice job, doing what I love in an industry I love. I work hard and get well paid for it. I own my own house and share it with my two cats, Felix and Bear.

I listen to NPR. I enjoy going to zoos, theaters and museums, or even spending an evening with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. I don't play any instruments, but would love to learn the piano one day. I love music, of almost all kinds. Yes that includes techno and dance. No I can't dance. I also play video games and like to practice my photography, though it's been a few years since I spent much time with it. I don't read as much as I'd like to.

I enjoy most kinds of food, and I'm more than willing to try new foods. It's fun for me to go out and explore new places to eat, finding those great hole in the wall places. I can also appreciate a nice four star restaurant or fast food, depending on my mood. I'm not really a fan of beer or wine and don't drink very often at all. When I do, maybe a rum and Coke or (gasp) even something fruity.

I'm honest, intelligent, caring, easy going, shy, nerdy... I'll add more as I think of them.
