I am recently divorced and am seeking a meaningful relationship with a thoughtful and interesting woman. I am a man who believes that women should always be respected and treated with dignity. I am looking for a new beginning and to start a new life with a wonderful woman who will treat me right and see me as the good-hearted person that I truly am. I do not believe in "dating around" and would like the opportunity to get to know and possibly love the right woman for me, one date at a time. It may be foolish of me, but I still believe in fate... as one door closes in my life, I feel as though other doors will open for me. What can I say, I am still a romantic and I am still a dreamer.

As I mentioned in my profile, I am a romantic and still a bit old school. I would prefer a dinner, with informative conversation, followed with a possible movie or walk to get to know each other better. Although a movie is typically a non-verbal setting, I feel that you can really sense the other person's interests with body language. If the chemistry is there and both parties are physically and emotionally attracted to one another, then a movie could be very appropriate. However, as I mentioned I am "old school" and am willing to do whatever the woman desires as a first date, within reason of course. I will forewarn any women whom are interested... I do not believe in "going Dutch", in other words I will be paying for everything and my elders have taught me well enough that you should expect some pampering as well. So, please do not be embarrassed as I show up with flowers and I open car doors for you. Also, don't worry, I am not one of those guys who uses quotation marks with my fingers as I talk. I must admit, I am actually a pretty fun guy to be around. I promise... the first date will be entertaining and memorable!
