I came to this site because I want to meet new people. I don't meet people in person necessarily because I want to date them but because they intrigue me as an individual and I would like to get to know them. I am an open minded person and usually people open up to me easily I guess because I am kind and a good listener. Sometimes being too nice of a person can bite me in the ass but I think having a big heart is more gratifying.
Nothing about a person will surprise me. I am open to all walks of life...honestly, you could tell me you like to dress your dog and cat up and have a tea party and I would support you!
I do not discriminate against how a person is born or what they possess or their beliefs or way of life. I am somewhat shy when meeting new people for the first time but I open up after a while. I love to laugh, and people who can make me laugh.
I consider myself "different" and I tend to have different point of views and outlooks on life then a lot of people. I like to think deeply and observe, I guess this is why I can be a good judge of character. I like to engage in meaningful conversation...but not all the time, sometimes I want to just act like a goof and bring my inner child out!
I am fascinated with the human brain and human psyche. I am a dreamer, I like to fantasize and expand my imagination...It's a shame we all seem to lose touch with that as we get older. I am a naturally curious person and love trying out new things.
Things I notice about these kinds of sites is no one ever mentiones their faults. So I'm going to mention some of mine..maybe it will scare some people off, lol. I mean we are not all perfect.
I am hard-headed sometimes, though I DO admit when I am wrong, (I REALLY hate people who hate to admit they are wrong..just suck it up.) once I have made up my mind it is HARD to sway me. I can also be very indecisive which can screw my friends over a lot. I can be quiet in social situations depending on my mood and a lot of people mistake my quietness as, "I don't want to talk to you get away from me *cold stare*" when really I'm just in a shy mood. A lot of people actually mistake me for cold, when really I'm so frinedly. ^^

My hobbies are many things. I like the fine arts,reading, learning, hanging out. Everything fascinates me really. I like to go for nature walks and hikes especially in Autumn. Things I want to take up are learning the cello, film making, horseback riding, yoga, meditation, some form of martial arts. I like the city life as well and exploring downtown Toronto. I am generally not a clubby person, but I like my share of partying. I also like a quiet and relaxing night with close friends. And as for music, I like everything from various forms of metal to electronic, folk, jungle, jazz, industrial, dark ambient/dark wave, classical. As long as the song effects me in some way I like it. Though I generally like music with a darker nature to it.

My first date. well I don't believe that when you first meet someone from a site that it's a "date" but rather just a casual meeting. I don't want the people I meet to just assume that something is going to happen. I generally like the thrill of meeting people and like I said, IF something happens then it happens. I am looking for any kind of relationship, a romantic relationship being not much more of a priority than a friendship or lasting bond. I am looking for positive people especially, I am not one to be guilt-tripped or playig mind games with. I like honest, genuine, positive people.

People who should NOT contact me are people who:

1. Assume, even for a little, that they should have me, get with me, keep me, or use me in any way.

2. Think that I am meeting them because I want to be something OTHER than friends.

3. People who just say "hey hun" or "hi what's your messenger?" or any other two to five worded statements. If you feel so inclined ot talk to me, at least show me you are interested to know me or want to have an actual conversation or else don't expect a reply from me.

That being said, what I like to do for meeting people is really just anything, I am not picky. I like to laugh and have fun, I also like dining out trying new foods or going for tea or going for a walk, movies, galleries, shows, downtown events, zoos, cafes anything. I am also more curious to know about the other person so I like doing things they like.
