I'm a really happy guy. I'm upbeat, optimistic, and enjoy just about everything I do. I'm very high-energy, really into being in shape and active. I've got a good job, have good friends, and am close to my family. I own my own place in Seattle, have a cat and a busy social life. I just haven't met that girl that takes my breath away yet. I'd like to.

I'm from the South (only a very slight accent though) and was raised with manners and a sense of chivalry. I'm a good communicator and listener. I'm affectionate, considerate, caring and am looking for the same. I'm also looking for a girl who's spontaneous and fun, who thinks "antics" are amusing. I like to cause the occasional mischief and I talk to strangers in elevators. Humor is a big part of my life and I want to share that wicked grin with someone else. I want to be with someone who is fit like I am and who I can hold an intelligent conversation with.

I like excitement and I'd like to think my life is from time to time. I've traveled extensively (19 countries), have been to 45 States, at least 30 national parks, have been sky-diving, run a full marathon, been attacked by a dog, got to be a hostage in a SWAT team training drill, and once broke both my feet at the same time. But then it can't be all about excitement. In a relationship I love quiet evenings together too. A fireplace, a movie, popcorn, the typical cliche. Or maybe a weekend getaway, a calm evening with friends, or a lazy day in the park. I want to find someone that's not only exciting, but that I'm comfortable with too.

The first date is all about getting to know the person. So I'd want to do something where we could talk, probably coffee in a coffee shop or a drink in a bar. From there we could make it a little more exciting and go running in the rain, dancing in Cap Hill, or make our own adventure playing and exploring in the city.
