Originally from California, but not your typical Southern California girl! Moved to Northern Michigan 22 years ago and love it. The one thing I do miss is the beaches and listening to the waves landing on the shore. A couple of years ago I decided I would get a tattoo so I now have 3. I would love to travel to Ireland and Austrailia, but for now I will settle for traveling in the United States and some of Canada for my job. I am a bit shy when I first meet someone face to face. I have been known to embarass easily with some subjects. I listen to most music except for Rap. I do how ever favor Country. I am not into the bar scene, but will go to listen to friends play. I do enjoy camping and bonfires with family and friends. Have tried fishing but can't seem to catch anything. I did try skeet shooting once and had fun, would like to try it again. The one thing I would love to do is learn to sail. I find the water relaxing. I am happy cooking at home or dining out, going to the movies or staying in and watching a DVD. At times I have been known to be a home body. I also enjoy keeping up on some sports.

For a first date, depending on what time of year. If it during the summer we could take a picnic meal to either the beach or a park and enjoy the outdoors. After we eat we could then take a walk on the beach or in the park. During the winter a nice meal some place by a window and a fireplace would be really nice. If it is a warmer evening during the winter a nice walk around town would be nice. But I believe it should be a mutual decision what ever we do.
