I think it's very hard to talk about myself. I'm a nice, down-to-earth kind of person, and am looking for a man who is somewhat the same, but in a manly way. I believe couples need to treat each other with respect...I have decided I won't accept anything less...I'm too nice (and too forgiving) to have to deal with that. I want to laugh and have fun; I want to be able to go places with someone else. I've dated, but have been divorced for 18 years. I've raised my kids with all my heart and now it's time for me. I want it all...the fairytale ending...some people are married an awfully long time but aren't even friends...I want this person to be my friend and at some time my lover. I want to be with someone I couldn't imagin being without...and I want a man that feels the same way...that he wants me...period. I've got interests, I like kayaking, I've been drawing and getting better, I LOVE dancing, I like watching good clean movies, I like holding hands...I can have fun doing almost anything. I'm not perfect and don't expect your to be either...besides, it's fun making up after a disagreement!

First dates...I like them to be rather simple...it makes them less nerve wracking...meet for a drink, go to pizza hut...go for a walk (somewhere public). I like kayaking...we could meet and go dancing...some movies are okay, but there is not much opportunity to talk at a movie.
