I'm at a good point in my life and looking for someone to share it with as well as be part of their life. I enjoy my work and although being demanding at times, I'm not a workaholic. I enjoy spending time with my family when possible since they live out of state and time with my friends. I like being active, getting to the gym when possible, and definitely running, but know when to take time off and rest. My favorite time is summer, but I enjoy fall and spring too, not a fan of winter though, but will manage.

A little about my personality is that I am open and honest when I communicate with others, have a great sense of humor (sarcasm is a big part of it, but never in a demeaning manner) and can laugh at myself, very caring, respectful of others, somewhat old fashioned romantic (not always though), appreciate the little things, outgoing yet relaxed and calm (I know, oxymoron, but it is me), great listener, easily get along with anyone and can talk about anything or nothing at all.

My interests and hobbies vary. I like reading a good book, movies in or out, checking out a new restaurant or a night at a pub with a good beer and a game on TV, or just a night in ordering take-out, cooking for people or with someone special, any game at Fenway, baseball and football being my favotrites, but going to the Garden for the Bruins or Celtics is always fun, plays and shows, live bands in a small bar or concerts at a large venue, heading to MV for the weekend or NH, etc, beaches and anything near the ocean/shore, yadda, yadda, yadda. I do enjoy more things so please feel free to ask anything else you'd like to know about me.

Who I am looking for is similar. I'd like someone who enjoys being active, definitely does not smoke, is open and honest in their communication, has a career or is in school with a direction or goal, enjoys sports, has a variety of mixed interests, is independent, family oriented as family is important to me, can enjoy a night in or out, has a great sense of humor and can laugh at themselves, has an outgoing personality, etc.

Hmm, a first date would be talking about it first with whom I am wanting to go out with. I think it should be a mutual agreement where we are both comfortable. However, if I am asked to choose, I would think a coffee or drink and apps. would be fine or maybe a simple casual dinner where we both can be relaxed and get to know each other.
