I enjoy spending time out of doors. Depending on the season, it may involve canoeing, camping (tent or cabin), shooting, hiking, ATV'ing...the list goes on. If you are not allergic to poison ivy or can at least deal with it, extra points. I'm not one-sided, though; I would enjoy sharing your favorite activities as well. I would like to travel around the country some, I did a cross country trip a couple years ago that whet my appetite and I plan to go back to Alaska next year (Anchorage to Key West in two weeks-good story). I also like to attend concerts or cultural events as well. I am fortunate in that I enjoy my work a lot and spend some of my time off teaching. I listen to classical music mostly, but can handle most genres if it is not too loud. Blues, old rock and some jazz is pretty good, too. Nothing stirs the blood like the bagpipes, though.

A nice dinner is something to fall back on if there aren't any events on the calendar. Anywhere two people can talk and be heard is the important thing, though. We are trying to get to know one another, right?
